Description

This dimension measures the individual's tendency to alleviate health anxiety through repeated checking, seeking reassurance, or information searching when facing physical discomfort, reflecting their hypervigilance to somatic signals and reliance on safety behaviors to regulate emotions. Although such behaviors reduce anxiety in the short term, they may long-term reinforce attention to physical symptoms and hinder natural adaptation processes.
